'Valour' is an elegant, original poppy painting on canvas. It has a modern feel to it with a simple design although the deeper you look, the more intricate the detail becomes. It has a light impasto layer which creates an element of soft texture to the canvas. A feature which sits quietly in the background yet adds the first signs of movement to the painting. Working in layers, a natural depth of colour begins to emerge with subtle reds and greens peaking through in the middle ground.
